Concept- Equation in its ionic form is expressed in such a way that the kind of dissolved ions present in the solution can be determined. To do so, divide the molecules into their ionic forms with respect to their respective oxidation numbers.
The oxides are often solids and are water insoluble. As they precipitate, they sink to the bottom of the containers. As hydrochloric acid is a powerful electrolyte, it will always exist in its dissociated ionic form in the solution. When manganese chloride is dissolved in a solution, it dissociates into its ionic form. Because the solvent in this solution is water, it will not change its state and will stay in a liquid state only. The chlorine gas in the solution will be evolved from the reaction.
