Write the properties of mixtures

Mixtures contain two or more substances that are physically combined and can be separated by physical methods.

In mixtures, the substances retain their own properties because no chemical bond forms between them. The composition can vary in any ratio. Mixtures can be homogeneous (uniform, like salt water) or heterogeneous (non-uniform, like sand and water).

They can be separated by filtration, evaporation, distillation, or magnetic separation. Unlike compounds, mixtures have no fixed melting or boiling points and show properties of all their components. Examples include air, steel, and soil.
