Given expression ${\mathrm{x}}^2+5\mathrm{x}+6$ can be factorised using the identity, ${\mathrm{x}}^2+(\mathrm{a}+\mathrm{b})\mathrm{x}+\mathrm{ab}$. 

Here, $\mathrm{a}+\mathrm{b}=5$ and $\mathrm{a}\times \mathrm{b}=6$. 

Therefore, we can say that $\mathrm{a}=3$ and $\mathrm{b}=2$.

Therefore,

 ${\mathrm{x}}^2+5\mathrm{x}+6={\mathrm{x}}^2+3\mathrm{x}+2\mathrm{x}+6$

           $=\mathrm{x}(\mathrm{x}+3)+2(\mathrm{x}+3)$

           $=(\mathrm{x}+2)(\mathrm{x}+3)$

Hence, ${\mathrm{x}}^2+5\mathrm{x}+6$ can be factorized using the identity $(\mathrm{x}+\mathrm{a}) (\mathrm{x}+\mathrm{b}) ={\mathrm{x}}^2+(\mathrm{a}+\mathrm{b})\mathrm{x}+\mathrm{ab}$ only.
