Kingdom protista contain autotrophic, ingestive and absorptive mode of nutrition. Organisms like diatoms and dinoflagellates have pigments and can undergo photosynthesis to prepare their own food. Paramecium and Amoeba ingest their food while slime mould have absorptive mode of nutrition as they are saprophytic protists.
