Detailed Solution
Law of segregation states that though the parents contain two alleles during gamete formation, the factors or alleles of a pair segregate from each other such that a gamete receives only one of the two factors. This is applicable for incomplete dominance as well. Pink flower is due to incomplete dominance. This experiment is a deviation from the law of dominance. When plant with pink flowers is crossed with plant with red flowers then the F2 generation will have 50% pink flower and 50% red flower.
