Detailed Solution
Apomictic embryos if formed from cells of haploid embryo sac like egg cell or some other haploid cell, they remain haploid and sterile. If formed from cells of diploid embryo sac like archesporial cell without meiosis, it is diploid and such seeds can germinate and give rise seedlings. Diploid apomictic embryos can also be formed directly from integumentary or nucellar cells.
