Arrange the various steps given below in the light reaction of oxygenic photosynthetic organisms in correct sequence.
A. Ejection of electron from reaction center of PS II
B. Photolysis of water
C. Pumping of protons from stroma to lumen
D. Formation of NADPH+
In the light reaction of photosynthesis during non-cyclic electron transport, LHC of PSII absorbs photons and transmit them to its reaction center P680 which ejects electrons and oxidized. Then water is split and oxygen is released prior to the operation of PQ cycle. PQ cycle that shows cyclic movement of electrons, helps in pumping protons from stroma to lumen with the involvement of Cytochrome b6f complex. As the last step, the NADP is reduced to NADPH+.
