Cell membrane of which form is composed of branched chain of lipids

Lipids of cell membrane of archaebacteria are branched chain type and the lipids have ether bonds between glycerol and fatty acids. Cell wall has pseudo-mureins. These are the reasons why these bacteria can tolerate extreme conditions.
