Cells of the following tissue have unevenly thickened primary walls due to deposition of more cellulose, hemicellulose and pectin at the corners.
Collenchyma is living tissue that has primary walls with more deposition of cellulose, hemicellulose and pectin at the corners that hold more water. Parenchyma has evenly thickened primary wall. Sclerenchyma has dense cell walls with both primary and secondary walls and secondary wall is heavily lignified. Meristems have very thin cell walls having cellulose.
