Morphology and function of cells of a type of tissue varies from location to location in the plant body. Some times the cells of particular location may vary in size and morphology. e.g. Epidermal parenchyma cells of leaf may be organized as guard cells, accessory cells and normal epidermal cells. Though the location is same the cells are morphologically and functionally different.
