Solution

Secondary roots are lateral roots that arise from primary root. Those adventitious roots that arise from the base of the stem, more or less similar in size, short, slender and present as a cluster are called fibrous roots as seen in monocots. In monocots, initially the radicle forms primary root which is short lived and replaced by fibrous roots.
