A unisexual flower may be Dichlamydeous with two whorls of perianth or monochlamydeous with single whorl of perianth or achlamydeous without perianth, but has either androecium or gynoecium. Hence the number of floral whorls may one, two or three. Flowers of Canna can not be cut into two equal halves on any vertical radial plane and hence described as asymmetrical.
