Accessory cells, Bulliform cells and root hairs are cells of epidermis and belong to epidermal tissue system. Passage cells are special cells of endodermis of root lacking casparian strips and present opposite to xylem of root and allow the symplastic movement of mineral water collected in cortex through it to dump it into xylem of root.
