A complex of ribosomes attached to a single strand of mRNA is known as Polyribosome. It is also referred to as polysome. The ribosomes of a polysome translate the mRNA into proteins.
Many amino acids are linked to each other through the peptide bond and forms polypeptide chain.
When template has polarity from 5’→3’, the daughter strand formed is discontinuous and these fragments are called okazaki fragment.
