Cucurbita is a dicot. Its stem has vascular bundles arranged in the form of a ring. Each vascular bundle has outer phloem, outer cambium, Xylem, inner cambium and inner phloem in centripetal manner. Such vascular bundles in which the xylem is interpolated between phloem are called as bicollateral vascular bundles.
