Deficiency symptom of N, K and Mg appears in

The deficiency symptoms of nitrogen, potassium and magnesium are visible first in the senescent leaves. This is because N, K and Mg are mobile elements, therefore, in the older leaves biomolecules containing  N , K, Mg , are broken down making these elements available for mobilising to younger leaves.
