The DNA
Question

In the DNA of an organism, which is double stranded, 30% of the bases are cytosine. The percentage of the other three bases expected to be present in this DNA are:

( A for adenine, G for guanine, T for thymine and C for cytosine).

Easy
Solution

30% of the bases are cytosine. We know that percentage of cytosine is equal to percentage of guanine. Therefore, percentage of guanine will also be 30%.
Then, % (A+T)= 100-(30+30)= 40%
Therefore, % A= %T= 20%.
