Cell Cycle
Question

During which phase(s) of the cell cycle, the amount of DNA in a cell remains at 4c level if the initial amount is denoted as 2C?

Easy
Solution

The amount of DNA of cell is doubled by the end of S stage and the same amount of DNA is maintained in G2 stage, Prophase, Metaphase and Anaphase. In telophase with the formation of daughter nuclei, the amount of DNA of each nucleus remains 2C.
