Exodermis is a part of

Exodermis is seen in matured region of root. It is hypodermis of root with suberized walls seen beyond root hair region towards the stem base. It does not allow the leakage of water from cortex. Such region of root is not involved in absorption of water and minerals. It belongs to extrastelar ground tissue system of root.
