Gamete contains 1n number of chromosome and 1c amount of DNAA normal somatic cell at G1 phase contains 2n number of chromosomes and 2c amount of DNA. At S phase the amount of DNA doubles but the number of chromosomes remain the same.Therefore, the amount of DNA is 4c= 22 X 4 = 88pg.
