Genetically how many different types of gametes can be formed by a pea plant with the genotype RRGgTt

The possibility of formation of gametes with various genotypes is can be estimated with the help of formula 2n. ‘n’ is number of traits in the genotype in heterozygous condition. Here two traits Gg and Tt are in heterozygous condition. Hence the number of types of gametes with different genotypes formed are 22= 4. They are gametes with the genotypes as RGT, RGt, RgT and Rgt.
