Detailed Solution

We are told to calculate the number of ATP produced through ETS. Therefore, we will not consider substrate level phosphorylation. When fructose-1,6- bisphosphate is used as a substrate then 2 NADH are produced during glycolysis, 2 NADH produced through link reaction and 6 NADH and 2 FADH2 through kreb cycle. The NADH and FADH2 produced are converted to ATP through ETS.Therefore, total number of ATP produced= (2 X 3) + (2 X 3) + (2 X 2) +(6 X 3) = 34ATP
