Secondary growth is observed in dicots and gymnosperms. It is usually not observed in pteridophytes and exceptionally observed in monocots. Therefore, secondary growth cannot be observed in sugarcane (monocot), fern (pteridophyte) and  Dryopteris (pteridophyte).
