Solution

Cellulose is unbranched polysaccharide. It is not having any helices and hence can not hold Iodine upon staining with iodine solution. Starch and Glycogen have complex helices and branched polysaccharide. Inulin is polymer of fructose and has Glycosyl moiety at the end of the chain and several repeating fructosyl moieties.
