Identify the zones of root which is correctly matched with its appropriate characteristics.

 Regions of roots Characteristics
(1)Root cap(i)Protects the tender apex of the root as it makes its way through the soil.
(2)Region of meristematic(ii)Responsible for the growth of the root in diameter.
(3)Region of elongation.(iii)The cells of this region are very small, thin-walled and with dense protoplasm which divide divide repeatedly.
(4)Region of maturation(iv)From this region some of the hypodermal cells form very fine and delicate, thread-like structures called trichomes.
