Solution

In the transcriptional unit the strand of DNA with 5ʹ → 3ʹ polarity is described as coding strand or non-template strand or non-transcribed strand. The other one with 3ʹ → 5ʹ is called transcribing strand or template strand or code complement or antisense strand. The sequence of mRNA is complementary to template strand and similar to coding strand except in having Uracil in place of Thymine.
