Inheritance of One Gene
Question

If we spray gibberellic acid on a dwarf pea plant, it becomes tall. This tall pea plant is crossed with a dwarf pea plant. What is the probability of the offspring that you obtain from this cross?

Easy
Solution

Spraying the dwarf pea plant with gibberellin will only make it tall phenotypically. The genotype the plant remains unchanged. Hence, genotypically the plant will still be tt. When tt is crossed with another dwarf plant, then 100% of the offspring will be dwarf.
