In most of the legumes the leaf base swollen and fleshy and helps in the movement of lamina or leaflets. Such leaf base is called pulvinus leaf base. Amplexical leaf base is nothing but sheathing leaf base. Leaf base extended towards the lower internode is called decurrent leaf base.
