In light reaction, plastoquinone facilitates the transfer of electrons from PS II to ${cytb}_{6} f$ complex.
From Cyt f , the electrons are picked up by a copper-binding protein, plastocyanin (PC) to $P_{700}$
Ferrodoxin is used to tranfer electron from PS -I to ${NADP}^{+}$ . Ferredoxin in turn is used to reduce $NADP +$ , a reaction mediated by the enzyme ferredoxin- ${NADP}^{+}$ -oxidoreductase.
