Solution

Metachromatic granules are also known as polyphosphate granules or volutin granules.

Pili are elongated tubular structures made of special protein pilin and involved in conjugation to hold the F- strain and to pass the DNA  into the F- cell.

Fimbriae are small bristle like structures commonly seen in Gram negative bacteria which help in attaching to the substratum and host cells.

Gas vacuoles are impermeable protein membrane bound structures of photosynthetic prokaryotes which help in buoyancy.
