Question

Match the columns:

 Column I Column II
a.Two carboxylations are separated by spacei.Photochemical Phase
b.Two carboxylations are separated by timeii.C4 plants
c.Production of ATP and NADPH+H+iii.CAM plants
d.Fixation of O2 and release of CO2 iv.Photorespiration

Moderate
Solution

In C4 plants, primary carboxylation takes place in mesophyll cell and secondary in bundle sheath cell.
In CAM plants, primary carboxylation takes place during night and secondary during day time.
Oxygen, ATP and NADPH+H+ molecules are produced in light reactions or photochemical phase.
During photorespiration, oxygen  reacts with RuBP and in later reactions operated in mitochondria, CO2 is released.
