Grana thylakoid has both PSI and PSII and hence involved in non-cyclic electron transport. Since stroma thylakoid membrane has only PSI, it shows cyclic electron transport. Dark reaction enzymes are present in the stroma. Since Oxygen evolving complex is associated with PSII of grana thylakoids towards the lumen, photolysis of water takes place in the lumen.
