Cleistogamy is pollination in unopened flowers which show invariably self-pollination and ensures seed set. It does not require any pollinators to effect pollination.  Chasmogamy is pollination in opened flowers which may be self-pollination or cross pollination. Geitonogamy is pollination between the flowers of the same plant. Xenogamy is pollination between flowers of different plants belonging to the same species.
