Detailed Solution
Flowers of mustard have superior ovary and hence the flowers are hypogynous. It has six stamens with four tall and two short stamens. Its flowers can be cut into two equal parts when cut on any vertical radial plane. Its ovary has ovules arising from inner surface of ovary where the margins of adjacent carpels are fused and there is a false septum known as replum that makes the ovary as bilocular.
