In Phycomycetes, the mycelium is aseptate and branched filamentous and coenocytic. Asexual spores such as flagellated zoospores and non-flagellated aplanospores are formed endogenously in sporangia. Zygospore thick walled zygote which is also known as Oospore formed by the fusion of gametes.
