In Mendelian pattern of single gene inheritance, in $F_{2}$ generation the phenotypic ratio with respect to a single character is 3:1 (3 yellow seeded and 1 green seeded). The genotypic ratio in $F_{2}$ is YY (homozygous yellow) 1: Yy (heterozygous yellow) as 2 : yy (homozygous green or green) as 1.
