Roots of higher plants associated with fungal hyphae are called mycorrhizal roots. These are seen in Pinus. Roots of plants associated with nitrogen fixing bacteria such as Rhizobia form root nodules which are seen in Fabaceae plants like pea. Cycas has coralloid roots associated with cyanobacteria such as Nostoc and Anabaena.
