Pollen grain is haploid. If there 10Pg of DNA (c)  and 8 chromosomes (n) in the pollen grain then the amount of DNA (2c) in microspore mother cell in G1 phase will be 20pg and the number of chromosomes will be 2n= 8x2=16 chromosomes.
