Gonyaulax is a dinoflagellate, whose rapid multiplication makes the sea appear red (red tide). Toxins released by this organism may kill the marine fauna like fishes. Diatoms, do not cause red tides. Euglena is a freshwater form and green in color. Trypanosoma is a parasite in humans.
