Solution

The diameter of DNA is 2 nm through out its length. It is because a purine pairs with a pyrimidine. If a purine pairs with another purine and pyrimidine with another pyrimidine, then at purine region it shows more diameter and at pyrimidine less diameter as the size of purine is more than pyrimidine.
