Question

Statement A: Doubling of nucleosomes of a Eukaryotic cell takes place in S stage.

Statement B: Nucleosomes are units of chromatin consisting mainly of DNA and Histones.

Easy
Solution

Nucleosomes are units of chromatin. Chromatin is made of DNA and Histones. In S stage there is synthesis and doubling of DNA and doubling of chromatids of chromosomes. Since each new chromatid of chromosome has its own DNA and Histones, the number of nucleosomes also doubled in S stage.
