Stirred tank bioreactors have been designed to facilitate the mixing of nutrients or reactor component mixing and oxygen availability throughout the process occurring in  bioreactor. Purification and addition of preservatives is associated with downstream processing. Stirred tank bioreactor is not associated with any kind of facilitation for downstream processing and anaerobic process.
