It is leaf of dicots such as sunflower. It has upper and lower epidermis with few stomata in the upper epidermis and more stomata in the lower epidermis. It has upper palisade tissue with elongated compactly arranged cells having many chloroplasts and lower spongy tissue with oval or spherical loosely arranged cells having few chloroplasts. Each vascular bundle is surrounded by parenchymatous bundle sheath and has upper xylem and lower phloem
