Trascriptionally active chromatin is
Lightly stained region of chromatin is called Euchromatin. It has active genes and transcriptionally active. Condensation of chromatin is relatively less in this region. Heterochromatin is densely stained region of chromatin which is transcriptionally inactive. Facultative heterochromatin is chromatin which is temperorily inactive.
