CO2 is the common substrate and H2O is the common product of photosynthesis of higher plants and Bacteria. The Hydrogen donor of bacterial photosynthesis is usually H2S and in higher plants it is H2O . The other product of photosynthesis of higher plants is O2 but in bacteria it is Sulphur.
