Seeds in grasses are endospermic because grasses are monocots and monocotyledonous seeds are generally endospermic.
Mango develops from a fertilized ovary. Therefore, it is a true fruit and not a parthenocarpic fruit.
In the seeds of cereals such as maize the seed coat is membranous and generally fused with the fruit wall. The endosperm is bulky and stores food. The outer covering of endosperm separates the embryo by a proteinaceous layer called aleurone layer.
A sterile stamen is called staminode.
