$C_{8} H_{18} + 8 .5 O_{2} ⟶ 8 CO + 9 H_{2} O 1 mol 8 mol 0.95 mol 7.6 mol$
Emitted gas contains 0.05 mol C₈H₁₈ and 7.6 mol of CO if 1 mole of C₈H₁₈ is the fuel.
$∴ \frac{CO}{C_{8} H_{18}} = \frac{7 .6}{0 .05} = 152$
