Solution

Mass of silver in coating $= V x d$
$= 2 \times 10^{- 3} \times 100 \times 1 .05 = 2 \times 0 .105 g$
$w = \frac{I \times t \times E}{96500}$
or $t = \frac{w \times 96500}{I \times E} = \frac{0 .105 \times 2 \times 96500}{10 \times 108} = 18 .7 s$
