At point A near low pressure region, volume is very high thus, (V - b) $\approx$ V
$∴ (p + \frac{a}{V^{2}}) V = RT$
$\Rightarrow pV + \frac{a}{V} = RT$
$\Rightarrow Z = \frac{PV}{RT} = (1 - \frac{a}{RTV})$
