Solution

For octahedral complexes, coordination number is 6 . Hence, ${CoCl}_{3} \cdot 3 {NH}_{3}$ i.e., $[Co {({NH}_{3})}_{3} {Cl}_{3}]$ will not ionise and
will not give test for ${Cl}^{-}$ ion with silver nitrate.
